Tabla Recital
Pt. Keshab Chowdhury Plays both Delhi and Lucknow style of Tabla the fusion of which enthralls the audience and gives a different feeling. The rolling thunderous cadence of his drums with quick turn of his style from soft passage to brisk movements weaving intricate rhythmic patterns and a wonderful mathematical art of juggling in kaleidoscopic patterns within the ring of the time cycle have been greatly admired by the audience on several platforms.
Tabla Tarang
It is a very rare recital used to be in use very early days. Tablas are tuned in different notes so that melody compositions can be played. Pt. Keshab Chowdhury uses 12-15 Tablas for this recital. He has given many recital in India and abroad such as International Music Festival in Moscow (Russia), International Percussion Festival “Ritmo Vital 2002” in Madrid (Spain), India Habitat Center(New Delhi), Kamani Auditorium (New Delhi), Neemrana Music Foundation(France) etc.
Ensemble
Pt. Keshab Chowdhury has in his repertoire a Classical fusion with his team on Sitar, Sarode, Sarangi and Santoor. His compositions are created with the matchless blend of Indian Classical music and Folk where the rhythmic support is provided by different Indian percussions including Spanish Cajon, African Djembe, Arabian Zerb, Azerbaijan’s Kowal etc.
Percussion Orchestra
The rarest of the rare item is the Symphony Orchestra played by Pt. Keshab Chowdhury’s disciples aged 7 & above which comprises of different percussion drums & effect instruments from around the world and it is supported by a melody on Raga music. The Symphony is composed and conducted by Pt. Chowdhury and is first of its kind in India.
